Collection of Information

Information you provide to us. We collect information you directly supply online and to us. Key examples include your contact name, email, mailing address, billing address and card details, as well as your agreement to receive emails, texts or calls. We also record information when you write reviews or interact with our services or engage via social media platforms. In some cases, we may store information you provide about others, especially when you purchase gifts for others which we’ll deliver on your behalf.

Information we collect automatically. When conducting business with us, we keep information about the transaction, such as product details, purchase price, dates, location and billing cycles related to your agreed-upon package level and transactions.
Information we derive from you. We obtain information about the device you use to access our site, including the type of browser you use, hardware model, operating system and app version, mobile network information, IP address, unique device identifiers, access times, pages viewed, items placed in your cart, links clicked, browsing behavior — along with any referring URL, page or source you visited before navigating to us.

Transactional information we rely on. When processing orders, we accept and receive certain information from financial institutions or partners supporting billings, taxes, inventory and shipping logistics. Your individual transactional records are stored on U.S, and Canadian servers, at this time.

We may collect address information, demographic information, consumer preferences, interests and opinions from third party sources.

If you create an account or access Wagable.com using credentials from a third-party social media platform — such as FacebookInstagram or Twitter — we have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name, email address, friends’ list and public profile information; based on authorization procedures set by you and also determined by social platform.

We collect content you share publicly in connection with our products, services or campaigns, including photos, videos and profile information, and are able to respond to your communications via these platforms.
Wagable.com offers social sharing features or other integrated tools, which enable you to openly communicate, react, share and take actions through social media presence and vice versa. The use of such features enables social sharing among your friends or the public, depending on the settings established with the third party that provides the social sharing features. Uses of Information

We use the information we collect about you to provide, maintain, and improve our services and interactions with you, ultimately seeking to:

  • Improve social and sharing experiences with us and your own community contacts  
  • Keep in touch through retargeted messages, email, text and repeat visit messages

Wagable also uses your information to detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and otherwise illegal or nefarious activities.

Your Opt-Out Choices

You may update, correct or delete your online account information by logging into your online Wagable account directly or by reaching us at privacy@wagable.com.
If you wish to deactivate your online account, please note that we may retain information about you for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.
We rely on your consent to send promotional and non-promotional push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
You may also adjust marketing communication updates and changes, by opening your account profile and changing contact preferences there. If you need help, then contact privacy@wagable.com for assistance and expect a response within one business day.
Note that we may need to communicate and send non-promotional emails about your purchases, account, membership or our ongoing business relations especially if you are currently buying Wagable products.
The settings of your Internet browser or mobile device may allow you to stop sharing your precise location with Wagable or others. You can also stop sharing geo-located information in connection with our (or any) mobile applications by following the standard uninstall process and removing applications from your mobile device.
Third Party Ad Controls
We buy ads through the most common sources including Google, Facebook and Instagram. By following the instructions in ad sources seen online. you may click and remove ads or sources that don’t seem relevant to you, as an individual or one-off process.
Outside ad placements, we allow third parties to provide analytics services and serve ads on our behalf across the web and in mobile applications. We may also work with third parties to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign on third-party platforms. As part of these ad campaigns, we or third-party platforms may convert information about you, such as your email address and phone number, into a unique value that can be matched with a user account on these platforms to allow us to learn about your interests and to serve you advertising that is customized to your interests. Our goal is to share relevant rather than spammy communications here.
